Pujya Swami Ramatmananda holds a diploma in electronics engineering and comes from a very affluentbusiness family and could have itched an excellent career for himself in thematerialistic world as he was managing a flourishing stone crushing industry.He also started the Chinmaya Computers in Bangalore which is doing very well.But the roots of his childhood through Balvihar and Yuvakendra of ChinmayaMission had left such an impression on him that he could not resist the call totake up the spiritual sadhana seriously. He was very active in the ChinmayaYuvakendra and was always in the forefront in all the activities, workshops,seminars, camps, trekking and the innumerable dynamic and revolutionary projectsin Mumbai. Infact his mother, an ardent devotee of Pujya Gurudev showed keeninterest in taking up the sainthood, but Gurudev chose her son to be atorchbearer for His cause and vision.

Swamiji joined the Sandeepany course in 1992 and wastutored by Pujya Swami Anubhavanandaji and mastered all the scripturesperforming extremely well in the course. After diksha he served the mission inMumbai for about two years and was later posted to Indiranagar, Bangalore wherehe worked under Pujya Brahmaji conducting several Satsangs, Jnana Yajnas, VedicChanting and Bhajan sessions. Being fluent in Hindi, Marathi and English healso involved himself in a number of sadhana camps, Balvihar programmes, youthmeets and workshops guiding the children and youth. Bhajans in his melodiousgolden voice are very popular and he has to his credit several bhajans where hehas given a revolutionary modern touch to appeal to the younger generation. Avery simple and humble personality, he is personification of how total surrenderat the feet of Guru can transform an individual to heights of self-development.He served the Chinmaya Mission in Mauritius where he transformed silent centreto a reverberating one through regular classes, satsangs and yajnas.

Right now he is serving the mission as Chief Executiveof Karnataka Chinmaya Seva Trust in Bangalore.
